Join Amy and Susan for a fun arm-balance workshop that will develop the ‘lift-off’ techniques and strength drills you need to introduce arm balances into your yoga practice.
During this two-hour workshop, learn the essential alignment, body awareness and key muscles that we need to engage to lift up into arm balances. We'll explore the foundational arm balances - crow pose and side crow, as well as flying pigeon and eight-angle pose (with variations).
Why introduce an arm balance to my practice? Good question!
In addition to the physical (asana) aspect, we’ll take time to explore the mental and energetic aspects of arm balancing. How it can foster a sense of empowerment and resilience and deepen our focus - on and off the mat.
Whether you're new to yoga or practicing for some time and looking to to explore your edge, this workshop invites you to lift off and take your practice to new heights.
And no you won't be doing crow pose on top of your fellow practitioners!!
